She Bakes, She Paints

Every time I think Maizie could not be any more fun, then she is. She is now old enough that she likes a planned activity.....for about five minutes, maybe ten. It is a really good five minutes. We made cupcakes the other day for Maizie first baking experience. We did offer her a taste of the batter, but she declined.

She also likes to finger paint. I think she mostly likes to watch the paint plop. When she does not feel like touching the paint she takes our hands and moves it around in the paint. Since we have known her she will use our hands as an extension of her own. For example she will hold onto our thumbs and push our hands to hit buttons or turn pages. The other day Aunt Mel said that Maizie grabbed Mel's finger to shake at Uncle G when he corrected her.
