Bo
Here is another picture of our son. Our Letter of Intent was mailed this last Friday. Our agency has approved us to be matched with Bo, but now China gets to look at us. We sent over a letter stating our reasons for wanting to adopt Bo along with a letter from our doctor detailing Bo's future treatment. In 1-2 months China should issue preapproval, meaning we have been approved to proceed with our request for adopting Bo. China will still have to review our dossier, which we are currently trying to hurry along. We hope to have our final version of our home study this week so that we can request approval from Homeland Security to bring Bo home. After we receive that approval, we will be ready to send our dossier off to China. We hope to be DTC by the end of July. At that point we then wait for China to review all our dossier documents and send us our LOA, "Letter of Acceptance". It can take 3-6 months to receive the LOA after your DTC date and then an additional 1-2 months to actually travel.
We are trying to decide if we are going to set up a different blog or website for Bo's adoption. I know a lot of people have questions about this process as opposed to the one we experience with Maizie and we are considering how best to share the information.
